तन खा कर तनखा मिलती है,तनखा को तन खा जाता है,
तनखा जब कर में आती है,तन खा से मन अन खा जाता है.

तनखा के मिलने से पहले,अधिकार आरक्षित होते हैं,
कर्तव्य आहें भरता है,आश्वास्सन बाधित होते हैं .

तनखा के कर में आते ही,मांगों की पुकारें आती हैं,
मांग न हो पातीं पूरी,पुकारें तन खा जाती हैं .

तनखा वह श्रम की खेती है,सीमित बोऒ सीमित काटो,
इस मासिक फसल के कटते ही,प्रसाद सा सबको बांटो.

नववर्ष की पावन बेला पर,पत्नी ने की कुछ फरमाइस,
चलो पिया तुम हमें दिखा दो, फूल बाग में लगी नुमाइश.

जब से बजट हुआ है घोषित,कभी न की कोई फरमाइस,
कल शादी की वर्षगांठ है,करो पिया तुम पूरी ख्वाइस .

राजदूत से जाना होगा,मेघदूत में खाना होगा ,
प्रेमनगर का पान चबाकर,प्रेम दूत बन जाना होगा.

पेंग बढ़ाकर झूले होंगे, आसमान को छूते होंगे,
ऊंचा वाला झूला झूलेंगे,क्षण भर को दुखड़े भूलेंगे.

कुआं मौत का देखेंगे हम,उड़ता हुआ धुआं देखेंगे,
चारो ओर हों खेल तमाशे,बैठ खायेंगे चाट-बतासे.

पंजाबी एक सूट सिला दो,हाई हील का बूट दिला दो,
जयपुर वाला लंहगा ले दो,सस्ता नहीं कुछ मंहगा ले दो.

पप्पू की जिद पूरी कर दो,ले दो,दो पहिये की गाड़ी,
कब से आस लगाये हूं मैं,पिया दिला दो सिल्क की साड़ी.

कल शादी की वर्षगांठ पर,मुझको क्या दोगे उपहार,
या फिर मुझको बहला दोगे,डाल गले में बाहों का हार.

बन्द करो अपनी फरमाइस,ना जाना है हमें नुमाइस,
जितनी पूरी करते आओ,उतना बढ़ती जाती ख्वाइस.

नयावर्ष हैं वही मनाते,जिनका साल गया उन जैसा,
वर्षगांठ हैं वही मनाते ,जिनकी गांठ में होता पैसा.

मत आमंत्रण दो मंहगे रावण को,अपहृत हो जायेगी सीता.

प्यार भाव वाचक संज्ञा है,एहसासों की पावन गंगा है,
मत आंको इसे उपहारों से,दूषित होगी मनभावन गंगा है.

TN teacher to get 2-storey house as ‘guru dakshina’

COIMBATORE: In times of a general irreverence in students for teachers, the sterling example of gratitude set by the ex-students towards a man who

turned them into doctors and industrialists is bound to tug at many hearts.

It’s just a 1,200 sq ft house in a non-descript village in Namakkal district of western Tamil Nadu. But behind its sparkling beige coloured walls lies a unique expression of love: it’s a gift from students to their poor, old teacher.

For over three decades, from mid-1950s to 1984, Tamil teacher Soballapuram V Venkataraman inspired awe among his students, not with his striking stick, but his stirring Tamil poetry and oratory. Two years ago, when the old boys of the Sengunthar Mahajana Higher Secondary school at Gurusamypalayam village met their 83-year-old former Tamil teacher, they were shocked.

On a monthly pension of Rs 9,000 he was additionally burdened by debts incurred for the marriage of his two daughters. On hearing about the hard times he was in, around 250 of the school’s alumni decided to gift him a Guru Niwas. It was their tribute to an inspiring teacher.

Contributions from old students, including two police officers settled in north India, and many others including doctors and engineers, poured in. A Coimbatore-based industrialist contributed about Rs 1.35 lakh. In less than two years, a two-storey house was ready on a Rs 10 lakh budget. The house would be handed over to him on September 6.

‘‘I never asked my students for help. Neither did I tell them anything about my financial problems. But they offered to build a house for me. I am moved by their gesture,’’ says the octogenarian.

Celebrating New Year

Passing of 31st Dec and Coming of 1st Jan of new year has always been interesting for me. On Dec 31st i was as usual cool and cracking jokes in office with no sign of Cold and cough.I returned at my flat around 11PM feeling exited to celebrate the new year.All my flat mates have gone to Home to celebrate new year leaving me alone.

But God! i was feeling cold..

I searched for woolen clothes.But in Mumbai winter has never been like this so no need for that.So i compromised with wearing jeans, full Shirt, jacket and then took a light blanket. Cuddled my self in the clothes and watched movies on my laptop. Mean while replied new year SMSes and sent some to my friends.

Last year when i was welcoming 2008 with my friends with wine, cold drink, chips, dance numbers i was overjoyed. Then i returned to my room and found that tube light o my room was not working.

How come …???? it was working well till i left my room at 6 PM on 31 Dec 2007.

I do believe in Luck and these incidents strengthen the believe more and more.Though i struggled in placements giving numerous interviews in 2008 and also in convincing my B.Tech project guide that i did a great job in the project but finally 2008  was good for me as it gave me a good job.

On personal front i remembered and called some one very close to me heart but the heart broke with no sign of togetherness in life. Then came a suspension in the job for short period.

I put my status message on GTALK as ” 2008 is passing with a scar on my life”.Year 2008 was a bag with sweet and sour gifts making me more mature professionally and personally. I don’t know what 2009 has in its store for me.

But lets be optimistic and celebrate New Year 2009 !

Recently there have been lots of events against the interest of Bihari people and on the integrity of nation because of dirty politics.

I have been getting mails from people in india who feel hurt by these developments . This forum will have only mails and message by others.

I will write in a differnt thread but on the same topic.

please have a look and put your opinion.

We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more…

1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don’t study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school.
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi
3. Prime-minister, president and all other leaders should only be from Delhi
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals
7. Lord Shiv, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas)

8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only.

9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
10. Let’s support Kashmiri Militants because they are right in killing and injuring innocent people for the benefit of their state and community..
11. Let’s throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world
12. Let’s stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside
15. We should STOP using local trains… Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari.

16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, they will become true Marathi’s

Lucky Me

This was the finest day in Mumbai.

No rain..easy entry in local train for Vashi to Kurla and then Big profit as  virtual money in Trading!.

I landed up in Local train with 89% packed (in terms of Packing fraction !).Got place to half stand. One glass of my spectacles surrendered in crowd.I felt sad by losing  Rs. 700 at one go.After 2 station when so many scoundrels left the train, a guy came to me ,all smiling and gave me that GLASS ! GOD must be crazy ! i wondered how come that glass survived when i find hard doing so ?  I smiled and thanked that “NICE HUMAN BEING of Mumbai.These type of species are rare in Mumbai !. You can bet on that !

Human and Trading:

Finance is interesting.Doesn’t require any prior knowledge.You should have sound brain and analytical approach .You would be master.Trading makes you greedy because you are stealing some one’s money virtually and so does others to you.Its addictive and progressive.When you need to hit 8 keys of keyboard withing 10 seconds and it results in Rs. 10,000 you smile.But when you misshit with time lag and loose Rs. 60,000 you feel deserted.Money is always attached to risk and thrill.If you wish to be finance wizard and money maker be a Trader and feel smartness from within !

The Local Train :

As i said travelling by a local train in Mumbai is challenging and adventrous too.You stand by the platform and people will throw you into the train.Remember,never hold any thing as a support,you will get a place to stand in the train minus your hands.

When first time i saw the scene at Kurla station it was horrible/terrible.People thrust in the train like animals ,not caring about others and so accident take place at high frequency.Recently i have observed that a group of folk singers sit in the train and sing. God knows how they manage to get seat but they are really irritating and no one opposes including me..because of the “don’t touch the dirt attitude “.

Few Changes in Me :

Thanks to IIT KGP, i have learnt flexible life style.I sleep at 4 AM and wake up at 9 AM for office and feel fresh even doing so.

# Take bath 2 times a day.

# My eyes are ice cool observing hot babes and their actions.

# Do lots of shopping in the weekends and visit shopping mall for dual purpose.

# Could adjust and befriend with a BENGALI GUY(Its a great achievement because if you are preplanned not to share your space with a BONG ever in you life !.Can’t say the exact reason).

# Could live without watching any MOVIE and **** since 2 months.

# Could enjoy net browsing at NET speed of 19.2 kbps and still do not feel frustrated.

# Could travel 2 hrs in Local train and have no complain against it. Can’t help. Man! you have to travel if you realy wish to manage your life un-expensively in Mumbai.

My love affair with cricket

Yesterday , i went to Kolkata to watch IPL match between Kolkata knigth riders and mumbai Indians.It was really fantastic experience.Its very much different experience than watching match on TV.They are so animated and informed with statistics .But there it was not easy to catch all movements at a time .Unfortunately camera was not allowed

In IIT KHARAGPUR IPL is super hit like orkut.There would be important exam like end sem but u would prefer watching match.Match streaming and IP are talk of the day.(Thanks to 24hrs. free net facility ).

My love with this game started way back in 1996. I use to be very studious guy who loved text books with no other activity.But my friends used to brought radio in class rooms secretly to get updates. so i got gradually inclined.It was world cup time. I started reading news paper for  sports page and would eagerly watch match between JNV GOPALGANJ team and other teams.I gradually knew about cricket playing nations and players.

Then i started listening to radio for commentary . I just got addicted .I would delay lunch/dinner/breakfast/assignments for that.It was really benifitial as i started loving the game and could understand fast passed English commentary.Even i started playing cricket in my close group of friends with our typical BAT. I hit sixes and fours (don’t laugh,it true).I started playing badminton too. I was very smart player and would beat all my friends. So i dreamt that may be after some time i would get in district level, then state level then selection in national team . So that’s how my affair started with this game.

Really some crazy incidents are worth mentioning :

• When Yuvraj singh made 84 in NAIROBI series i loved his strokes and remember him till today.We brought TV on rent to watch the final.India lost the final. Even we thougth to break TV .but some one came to our rescue . I was so sad, my head started aching, we did not take our dinner. I kept my sad face for almost 4 days.
• In 1999 world cup. I always seat/eat/slept with radio at my ear.I loved South Africa and its players.I got more addicted.Was so sad when SA were not in final. I loved sachin tendulkar and saurav ganguly.
• In 2003 i was very much involved. Watched every match.Read newspaper and editorial. Wrote many things daily. I got inspired the  way India made come back like true fighters . I loved the concept and term ” Team India “. Was ecstatic as  India made to the final. During those days , I was in BOKARO. IIT entrance was near in April.But do hell with that.Bokaro is always a silent town but in those days it seemed, was a city with not a single soul.
• On final day when Zaheer khan’s 1st over started being murdered by Ricky Ponting i felt crying. Then what followed for 50 overs was unforgettable. India batted for chase .wickets kept falling.Every one left TV room.  I kept seating  waiting for some miraculous innings from Sehwag.  When he was gone my dream was gone with billions of cricket worshiping Indians. I cursed team Australia . I did not take dinner . Wrote 5 pages in my diary about loss of India in the final and many finals.
• I compared sachin, Dravid, Sehwag with my chrachter and luck. I felt dejected and at complete loss.
• Got so happy and emotional when India won T20 world cup.I loved arrival of DHONI on Indian cricketing stage.
• Now i am loving IPL and this wonderfull concept of fire work cricket. I loved Maccullum fire works.I am so involved in IPL .And have sad feeling for Deccan, Mumbai , Bangalore.
• One day in dream, i saw Mumbai Indians scored 299 runs. Sachin scored 253. But they are chased by some other team who made 400 its not logical . But it shows our involvment in cricket.
• when saurav ganguly was thrown out of indian team . I felt injustice was done to him. i felt so sad.But dada made come back. I was so happy, inspired with his fighting spirit/determination/inner strength and a true player.
• I loved the way Saurav threw his T-shirt when they won the Final.

Many matches to follow.Many Dramas are to be witnessed. IPL has long way to go and has very bright future ahead for cricket lovers.Many records are to be broken and made.

Truly India is cricket crazy nation.cricket is religion and cricketers are our super star and demo-GODs.Throwing stones on cricketers home would occur. Banning Saurav would sadden us.His strong come back will inspire us. I love India. I  love cricket and hope that  Team India would be World cup winner some day.My love affair with cricket will remain for ever.Cheers to India , a great nation, a cricket crazy nation.
